Sausage and Cheese Grits: Instant Pot Recipe
Ingredients
1 package Regular Premium Pork Sausage
1 cup stone ground grits
2- 1/2 cup chicken broth or water
1- 1/2 cup milk, divided
2 tablespoon dry Ranch dressing mix
2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and pepper, to taste

Make it with Regular Premium Pork Sausage
Directions
- Turn Instant Pot on Sauté setting. Cook Jimmy Dean Premium Pork Sausage until no longer pink, breaking up sausage as it cooks.
- Turn Instant Pot off. Stir in stone ground grits, chicken broth, 1 cup milk, Ranch seasoning and garlic powder.
- Close lid, lock pot, select "Manual" setting and 10 minutes cooking time. Perform a natural pressure release for 10 minutes, then release quick release any remaining pressure.
- Stir in remaining 1/2 cup milk and cheese. Stir until cheese is melted. Check seasoning and add salt and/or pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately.
